SRC was shortlisted as a finalist in the SME Consulting Firm of the Year category at the 2025 New Civil Engineer Awards. This category recognises consultancies that have demonstrated sustained growth across revenue, projects, and people.

TechFest Awards 2025: Best Use of Technology, Health, Safety & Wellbeing - Highly Commended

SRC was highly commended in the Best Use of Technology: Health & Safety category at this year’s TechFest Awards.

This recognition highlights our innovative use of drone technology on the Asset Data Improvements project with Transport for London. By integrating drones into a highly regulated environment, we’ve not only improved safety for our surveyors but also delivered significant gains in survey efficiency, accuracy, and quality for our client.

SRC was also shortlisted as a finalist in the Digital Transport Project of the Year category at the 2025 TechFest Awards.

Spotlight Rail Awards 2025: Acting as one Team – Finalist

SRC was named a finalist in the Acting As One Team category at the 2025 Spotlight Rail Awards, which celebrates outstanding collaboration across the UK rail industry.

The nomination recognises our role as Engineering Delivery Partner (EDP) to Transport for London’s Asset Performance Directorate (APD), a partnership led by SRC in collaboration with Tony Gee and others since April 2021.

Spotlight Rail Awards 2025: Best Use of Technology in Infrastructure – Finalist

SRC was also named a finalist in the Best Use of Technology in Infrastructure at the Spotlight Rail Awards, recognising our innovative use of drones for urban rail surveying.

SRC has deployed drones to survey roofs across the London Tube network as part of the wider ADI project, addressing the unique challenges of surveying in dense urban environments. This approach has enabled safer, more efficient, and cost-effective survey solutions, and even led to an update in safety standards.

Rail Business Awards 2025: Young Professional of the Year (Eve Munday) – Finalist

Eve Munday, Project Engineer at SRC Infrastructure, was shortlisted as a finalist in the Rail Business Awards ‘Young Professional of the Year’ category.

Rail Business Awards 2024: Innovation of the Year – Highly Commended

SRC was highly commended in the Innovation of the Year category at the 2024 Rail Business Awards for our work on the Cooling the London Underground project.

In partnership with Transport for London, we led the testing and proving of an innovative cooling panel design to help address rising temperatures on the network.

In addition to industry recognition, the cooling panel attracted widespread public interest, including national coverage by the BBC during its first trial at Holborn Station.

Rail Business Awards 2024: Young Professional of the Year (Phoebe Bassett) – Highly Commended

Phoebe Bassett, then a Portfolio Manager and now an Associate Director at SRC, was highly commended in the Young Rail Professional of the Year category at the 2024 Rail Business Awards.
