SRC is thrilled to have played a key role in delivering the newly opened step-free entrance at Paddington Station’s Bakerloo Line, as part of Transport for London’s (TfL) Step-Free Access Programme. This milestone marks a major improvement in accessibility for passengers, allowing easier access from street level to the Bakerloo Line platforms via two new lifts.
Working closely with TfL, our team managed the engineering behind the installation of these lifts, contributing to a seamless and efficient upgrade. The enhancements at Paddington include more ticket gates to reduce congestion and improved signage to help passengers navigate the station with ease.
